I don't think scripting is as popular. Feel like it defeats the whole purpose

The only way I'd see it being worth is to see how well the AI does it then try to emulate it

I don't often see scripts in LoL.

Scripting in lol died for most when riot took out most of Sites with cheats with cheat makers now if there would be any scripts they would be expensive and scripting in lol in fact doesn't work like in other any games it can't be hiden if there is any new cheat it might go for some weeks but later you got the point

I don't but I see A LOT of people botting in vAI matches, and as someone relearning the game and teaching a low skill player, it is really annoying.

I tried once, full blown scripting, though it was retarded. Am not starting a game to end up spectating a bot playing for me. This is really boring.
Then I scripted to get used to the range of the Lee Sin dash. Then never again.

Cheating in LoL ruins all the fun, while in games like, GTA, CSGO, it can definitely bring fun. But thats just my opinion.
I do have to admit that "trackers" or whatever they call it, stuff that says information like wards locations, cooldowns, damages you could do/if you can kill with a combo. Those could be relatively nice. Especially for training purposes.
