I know that there's Tiger King out there, I just haven't gotten to it.
And just to put my money where my mouth is, here's a recommendation from me:

They Shall Not Grow Old - (2018)

A WW1 documentary by Peter Jackson that only uses interviews from veterans and actual footage from the war.
The movie follows England's side in the war and the young men that enlisted. Around the beginning of the second act, they switch up the style of the documentary that truly made this an engaging experience. Go check it out!

Hitler! ahhaha

I love a good documentary! Here's some of my favs.

An Honest Liar - All about James Randi and how he exposed so many fakes and frauds in areas like psychics and faith healers (He outed Peter Popoff). He also pulled a couple of great hoaxes including fooling scientists into believe psychic powers are real, and making hundreds of thousands of people believe in a fake faith healer he created.

The Great Hack - An in depth look at how the Cambridge Analitica scandal came to be and what it really meant/means for our privacy (and what that actually means as a human these days).

Dealt - A documentary on Richard Turner, he's a blind "card mechanic". Basically, he can do things with a deck of cards you would never think were possible, and he does it better than anybody in the world, despite not being able to see (oh, he's also a fifth degree blackbelt, yeah...)

Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room - A great look into how the Enron scandal went down.

Culture High
- One of the best weed docs that looks at the business of cannabis and the war on drugs.

The UP Series [UK] is quite a profound documentary / reality series.

07.UP [1964] 14.UP [1970] 21.UP [1977] 28.UP [1984] 35.UP [1991] 42.UP [1998] 49.UP [2005] 56.UP [2012] 63.UP [2019]

In 1964, English filmmakers including director Michael Apted assembled a group of fourteen British children from various economic and social backgrounds, all age 7, and made a documentary about them called 7 Up.
Every seven years afterward, Apted revisited the same children and made another documentary about them, chronicling their lives at the ages of 7, 14, 21, 28, 35, 42, 49, 56, and now 63. (Not sure if they're still planning to do one at 70.)
It's so interesting to see how their lives turned out, happy and sad.

Not sure if you've heard of Temple Grandin, but she's been a real inspiration to me. There's a movie about her autism, her life, and her inventions. It's very eye-opening, 10/10 would recommend
