my question goes more towards how do you even get into the deepweb? is it a specific website that serves as a gateway? Or is it something else

deep web and dark web are different. dark web is included in the deep web.
dark web need a special connection relay (TOR) whereas deep web represent all that is not indexed by search engines (this forum for example )
So you are currently in the deep web !

Dark web is the same with normal web specially early 2010s when there where so many sites un regulated

The dark web really isnt as 'spooky' and 'mystical' as people make it out to be on youtube, sure there are fucked up things but really its just like the normal internet but more open and more anonymous. People often sell drugs, guns and other illegal things on there too.

What is the dark web? No chance to watch the video.
