I have been for the past about 11 and I have no problems. Depends how much and other underlying conditions I'm sure.

I use for medical reasons and I'm sure smoking it will do some damage to your lungs over time (dunno if it's permanent or not, it's definitely not as dangerous as cigarettes), edibles seem to be the safest. And I'm still a bit curious about vaping... we don't really know the true effects yet. Vaping it too new.

My advice is to be careful, know who you're getting the weed from, take a small dose to start and don't be anxious/in a bad mood while smoking because it might get worse.

everything in vice is bad, like that happens with weed, I believe that smoking this plant should be made of moderate and conscious wood

I personally smoke for less than 10 years and I"m already starting to feel the effect on my memory.. I guess it depends on who you are and how your body/mind will react.

Alright grab a drink and sit tight.

I am smoked weed for about 6 years now.

First of all you need to know there are 3 different types. But only 2 will really be important.
Sativa, Indica and Ruderalis (you can basically disregard Ruderalis)

What is the difference?

Sativa gets you high.
Indica makes you stoned.

Being high: you will be happier, feel more energized and your creativity is pushed.

Being stoned: You are getting into a chill mood. Your muscle relax and you just doze kinda off.

THC Level: The higher the THC the stronger these feelings will be.

Let's talk about "Kief" which basically is the cannabis in a concentrated form. Kief is the result if you are grinding your weed and scrap it up with a little spatula which nearly all grinders have.
This is basically like the golden jackpot if you collect it after some time. This is basically the treasure of us smokers.

My personal experience:
My first joint (it has to be said that my first joint was also a strong one) hit me like a brick. But not in a negative way.
Especially at the beginning you will be easy to get into this state we smokers all love since you have not yet built a tolerance requiring a higher dose of THC.

At start I have not smoked a lot, it has to be said connections were not built yet enough.
2 Years ago from today I had my most intense phase on how much weed I smoke.
Everyday. 10 Joints minimum. Looking back NOT the best idea. But at THAT time I fully enjoyed it.

Today I just smoke it to chill and have a good time which basically is the main goal of all of us, but in a more mature manner if I may say so without offending anyone.
I am a millenial. I still love to roll my joints. For me the ritual in rolling is just a required thing in smoking weed. Although I know vaping pure weed is healthier since it does not BURN the weed. You get WAY more out of your weed and you need less of it to get the same results as smoking it.
Only issue is there is no what we call hit when smoking it. Just a slight breeze and the taste is more intense.

I mention taste so let's talk about that.

There are a **** ton of different variants. Years ago there were a few. From these few, sub-cultures have been developed. Variant AB is based on Variant A. Variant ABC is based on AB. Variant ABCD is based on ABC....you get my point.

So is there really a risk?

Yes, if you do not have yourself under control. Yes if you already have mental issues that are to be seen serious.
BUT for the MOST part it is not damaging you really if you have a healthy intake and keep yourself regulated by just smoking weed if you have the time and kinda give yourself a treat.
For me I found it helped me through a lot.

It has to be stated that NO ONE really died because of weed. Maybe if they were stupid enough to smoke while being already in a dangerous area.
But out of all drugs weed is the least dangerous one. I would to ask you to read up about what THC does to you on your own because you need to read it yourself and please only take medical researches as clear and trustable source. A lot of sites exist which are just pro-weed all the way or contra-weed all the way.

Keep in mind that weed is also used for medical use with very great results.

If you are interested try it. It is by far not as bad as you probably get told or are thinking about it.

At the end you will have to experience it yourself to really understand it.
And yes not smoking it is of course healthier than smoking it. Also depends if you burn it or not.
If you do not burn and just vape it is way healthier already.

Hope that clears it up.
Damn due so comprehensive thank you

try to keep it minimal i used to do it much more when i was younger but when you do it every know and then it's much better imo. once you got used to being high it's just not worth it
