Is the game dead?

I think this game is definitely still alive, and has some clear challenges ahead such as it's edge against Valorant and other titles. But I do not believe this will have a large hit on their player base. CSGO has been popular for a long time and I don't think that's just either suddenly or over time drop. It get's continuous updates which is the most important thing for the user I believe

Look at the monthly active players tons of people play the game and it spikes around each major. The game is really popular even now

they made it f2p to prevent its death but i honestly think that has sped it up due to cheaters.

The game is still booming but I usually play Pavlov on CSGO maps lately.

because of cheaters and a lot of stupid updates it pisses me off
