What music and/or tv do you listen to while working?

When I am photo editing or doing graphic art I listen to old Bowie, punk, post punk, new wave, or I go classical. I listen to newer music when photographic people but olderstuff when I design.


I've noticed my work is shaped in ways by what I am listening too.

Well as the music is my job I'm listening to everythnig without any borders.

On the TV I'm watching only to cartoons/animes, documentary, music, sports and rare some news.

I usually just have a youtube video pulled up at work or at home when I'm doing w/e.

Spotify with my loved playlist to working with house music, or some polish

I love all kind of music exepct heavy metal and rock
But usually when i work i like chill music like bob marley or one of his sons
or old pop music like umbrella by rihanna or something simiilar

I think lofi in youtube or spotify. The Social Network soundtrack it's very good too

I've really been getting into YouTube music your mix! I always find a few good songs I've not heard before

I mostly listen to indie. I also sometimes do podcasts or simple videos.

Lots and lots and LOTS of Japanese jazz/soul/funk fusion (specifically jazz). Different albums depending on my mood, but overall the genre never fails to disappoint me (without naming any specific artists or styles I think "Yatabe Speed Trials " on YouTube is a pretty good starting point. It's a good mix of more actiony and laid back songs). Also some s3rl / vocaloid / 2hu pieces sprinkled in there if I'm looking for something really high energy and really want to finish something I'm working on.

When I'm drawing I tend to be swayed into style by what I'm listening to music wise so I try to plan out what mood I want to be in to draw and pick my music choice from there to gather the right emotions so I can listen to almost any genre from super sad to heavy death metal. I don't mind having vocals in my music either but I know some people can find that distracting. If I'm gaming or doing school work I can have tv on in the background but it has to be something I've already watched otherwise I get distracted by it :lol:
