What movies do you recommend?

What movies do you recommend to stay up to date in conversations with other people?
it happened to me once everyone talked about "x" movie which I did not see and could not participate in the conversation ..
For example I would recommend watching pulp fiction

I would definitely say go watch:

the Godfather trilogy
Jaws (Only the First one)
Schindler's List
Shawshank Redemption
The Shining
Dead Poet's Society
Princess Bride
Inglorious Bastards

There's lots more, but that is a good list to get started on.

If there was only one film I could choose, it would be the Room :-D

Ive seen the room it was good. I like The Road its about a boy and his dad in post apoc land

Ex machina, Parasite, Peanut Butter Falcon, The Great Hack..you should watch all

If you like slapsticks comedy and real kungfu...

A few great old school HK movies.. Mr vampire saga & Lucky stars

Baby driver is one of my favorites if you havent seen it.... or any edgar wright movie (Scott Pilgrim, Shaun of the dead, hot fuzz)

If anyone here isn't Australian there's an old comedy classic called the castle. You should check that out!

The Shawshank Redemption is pretty good. I like also all Godfather movies.
