What do you think about in regards to TikTok?

Should it be banned? should it stay? What issues do you see? What improvements should be made? Why?

I believe it should be completely banned or have greater steps in dealing with community violations. It seems that violations are a huge issue. If you report a user for obvious violations, I guarantee they don't ban it or it takes forever for them to look at the report. The app itself is dangerous for kids due to there being many weirdo adults (s) commenting on their content, some or most being really disgusting. Even though there is an age restriction, it doesn't stop these kids from making an account.

I do have to say that some content is amusing - like people doing pranks etc. however, I also notice a huge percent re-posting youtube video(s) that aren't their own or keep releasing different part(s) over an X period of time. Most people that do this are

I think it should hand over ownership rather than getting banned. It's not doubting china is stealing our info. Even though they say their CEO is American, the CEO does not have all the power rather the Chinese Government does.

the us only has a problem when the app is chinese, but doesnt care about literally every other social media app that harvest user data.

I would say Trump has a problem with it because there is so many people expressing their first amendment right against him and he doesnt like it. So lets find a way to shut it down and restrict that right. Pathetic in my honest opinion.

banned or not but i find tik tok company very intelligent and managed to exploit teens behavior and turned it into huge profit.

I don't mind Tiktok, it's an entertainment service.
But I would put a mark of 21+ XD

Banned? why would you ban an app? you don't like it then don't download it. easy!
Banning the app is not peoples choice, there are billions of apps just like that, the case is.. the war between capitalism and socialism.. that's all.

I don't think it should be banned. If you don't like the site then there's no reason to sign up for it. I probably never will make an account on there, but that's because I don't ever feel the need to make Tiktok videos. My wife has a account and if she finds stuff she wants to show me, she just shows it to me before bed. Every social media platform sells your data, if you don't want your data being sold to marketing companies just avoid social media.

Tik Tok needs to be removed. There is a lot of stuff that shouldn't be on there.
