i would say it's a Goblin Shark. Daaaaamn they are so ugly. Or maby The Japanese Giant Hornet.

A flea would be crazy scary. Imagine it just jumping and pulverizing whatever it sees like thousands of feet in the air. You wouldn't wanna mess with a goddamn giant flea.

I've no doubt about this: the most terrific animal in a "whale size" would be the pigeon. Something like an enormous shit bomber.

Honestly, I'd say new-word tarantula. Fast as hell, crazy reflexes and touch response, and urticating hairs. I'd be terrified - and I think they're cute as heck at normal size.

Does any animal include things like insects? because id chose preying mantis or whatever they're called, those things are durable as hell and are pure brutal

Judging by the amount of arachnophobia mods for videogames, I'd say "spiders" would be scariest if resized to whale size for most people.

Personally, I hate fast-moving (usually flying) insects, and all fish/crustaceans/non-mammalian ocean or river dwellers. So probably a whale-sized "carpenter bee" or aquatic insect (e.g. "lobster") would be scariest.
