What's your favourite horror movie?

What's your favourite horror movie? My favourite horror movie is SAW 2.

I really adore Possession. It's a slow burner, but it pays off. I find a lot of character driven, allegorical horror can be thin and pretentious (see: Babadook) but this manages to work both angles really well.

I love Final Destination! The plot is super creepy, to think the "death" will come up with some of the worst ways to finish someone off...

Pet Sematary (1989) is my personal favorite. I remember my Dad recorded the movie off of The USA Network one day in 2001 and I would watch that VHS over and over again. The remake was good but you can't beat the original! The original movie was more based around the book than the remake.

not massively into horrors but enjoyed a quiet place and birdbox

The sixth sense it's my favourite terror movie, i jump on my sofa without high volume music to scare people. That girl under the table... Still in my mind...

One of my all time favs is ?The Human Centipede and ?The Exorcist... but be careful, make sure you have a strong stomach... full of gore

The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari (Das Cabinet des Dr. Caligari)

I thought it was The Ring, but I rewatched it recently, and it was ok, but not as good as I remembered. I guess the first thing other than that that pops into my head is Event Horizon. I honestly watch too many movies though. 28 days later, and weeks later are pretty good. Pitch Black, The Grudge, Body Snatchers, all of the Resident Evils, all of the Underworlds(not really horror, but,,), Silent Hill, From Dust Till Dawn, The Amityville Horror,,, All of those are worth their time to watch imo.

Under the Skin genuinely, well, got under my skin. The movie just takes its time, a horrifying soundtrack, disturbing visuals. It's one that sticks with you for a while
