map awarenes is always the key. having a great grasp of the map will help you a lot. you'll learn when is the right time to roam, when do I shove. all that

Map awareness is very key, honestly it's the most vital thing

watch the pro mids on youtube, watch any helpful videos also. review your games and stay sharp. most importantly use your brain

you can play zed or master yi for develop on mid after that you can play another mid champs if you dont know this champs

limit your champion pool to 1-3 simple champs so you're able to learn the game properly in terms of macro & game sense
whatever mechanics you develop will transfer to other characters

If you know you can kill your enemy try doing it, but don't die doing it it just not worth, try playing safe, don't ever forget to place your sentinel to get vision about ganks and if you kill your enemy first use this advantage to get more strong.
