to me he is underestimated because, in addition to being a versatile artist, he makes all the songs look good, of course, with some exceptions.

His music I can't really speak to, honestly I don't listen to him all that much, but I went to his store in LA and it certainly seemed like he was waaaay too about himself. The place was so over the top security for what seemed like basic merch. But then he came out of the back room and some other customer in the store went honestly crazy, pronounced undying love and showering praise. And he was like "Thanks..." and peaced out. So he's not a jerk but yeah maybe people over rate him.

Ty is overacted toooo much. I think his music is not really that good and he only has like 2 decent songs.

tyler is way overrated, he's a good artist like i'm not saying he's bad he just gets way too much hype and he doesn't have enough bangers

he's both underrated and overrated at the same time. igor is amazing and it deserves the plays. but people know him more for golf le fleur and flog gnaw and not the thing he actually does, which is music.

Imo, the US Hip-Hop Scene took such mainstream attention and exposure that debating overrated or nah is obsolete.
But Tyler, for me, even if his fanbase can be ANNOYING AS F, still got merits, like a Travis Scott, he managed to curate something fresh and new using his influences, he renews himself at each albums, and most of his recents work are considered really importants.

What he is now kinda make me think of what Andre 3000 could have been in the early 2000 if he had reached a pop star status.
