no, lua is very easy, I have learned how to do basic things in less than hour, and learning for me is very hard

I had a job once where my boss told me to learn java and html from just looking up tutorials on google. That's literally what my training was, look up how to code on google. It was a blood bath.

Lua is probably on the easier side of programming languages. If you are an avid source fan it is very good to pick up so you can make content yourself rather than leeching.

I recommend firstly looking at the documents online and read them all. Then, go to some simple (smaller) plugins and see how all the files work line by line. The language is pretty self-explanatory.

All it really takes is commitment, like all code, and it takes time. You might avoid doing it and try to find shortcuts but training someone to do it but everyone eventually learns just by spending a bit of time.

no its very simple just get sublime and use the gmod syntax and use the darkrp wiki for help or use https://www.tutorialspoint.com/lua/index.htm

Hey! From my perspective, learning is a hard process in general. As for LUA, it's a coding language that is less hard than the other ones such as C++ etc. To learn it for Garry's mod purposes, I recommend you to read up official tutorials from here:

Its hard in my opinion because the world and tech is changing, So is coding and lua. I personally like to keep it simple, I dont intend on fully learning but if I need help fixing a script Ill probably google it

I think if you will start learn other code-languages like C# or Java, you will probably understand Lua containment

Not too hard to learn, of course I'm not distinguished in it. More of a C# guy myself (Please s&box use C#) but from my experience it's pretty straightforward. I would suggest if you're just getting into it, try and learn a bit from tutorials. I know code blue had some pretty good ones.
