Is League Really THAT Toxic?

Just block/mute/report the people that talk shit and you're ready to continue a better game

League has been in a terrible state for the past few years but the anti-toxicity stand Riot has taken has definitely cut out a massive portion of the toxicity. If you look at games like Dota where valve takes a hands off approach the shit that goes on there is so much worse.

Online gaming in genral is toxic, you look at wow, overwatch anything, twitter...most platforms without consequence become toxic, it's way too easy to make a new account on league

Yes, league is toxic, but I think that it is common in competitive games, CSgo is a lot more toxic.

The community is toxic but not all of them are toxic. All i do is just ignore them and have fun playing

Being around since release, I totally support your take here. The measures taken by riot in the last years helped a LOT. The community still has quite a lot of toxicity, but it got much better.
You are still fucked though if someone really tilts and starts to sabotage your game by inting (intentional feeding) or leaving.

League of legends is the king of the toxics players...

It is. It's almost better to just play with chat off, or at least leave enemy chat off, but then you're probably going to miss vital communication when it's actually valid.

It firstly depends on the elo you are in and also the region. And cmon you lose it sometimes when your team doesnt listen to your commands atleast when you winning your lane.
