The Mandalorian, yay or nay?

I've seen a lot of hype, and, surprisingly,controversy about this show. However, I haven't watched it yet. I'm not much of a band-wagon-joining person. Typically, whenever EVERYONE is doing something I actively avoid it, like the plague. Then I will do it when it's not cool anymore to see if it's really as good as everyone says. So, should I watch it or is it just hype because its Star Wars?

As someone who does not consider themselves a star wars and is only vaguely familiar with the movies I must say o have throughly enjoyed the show and dont feel my lack of knowledge has lessened my enjoyment

My favourite tv show ever. If it was a movie, it would be the best Star Wars movie ever.

The star wars fanbase will always exaggerate how good it is, but overall it's worth watching. My only issues with it is that some episodes feel like a pointless videogame side quest and there's some transparent fan service.

I thought Season 1 was already pretty good, but Season 2 just improved the whole series. I'm pretty psyched for next season already. For me it's one of the best Star Wars productions all time.

The episodes are way too short, and obviously not everyone will love this tv show. It's minimal in many ways, taking it's time to build up the story.
The mandalorians are awesome characters and saving baby yoda is the central focus of most of the show so far. There have been some great actors making an appearance for one episode, and great team ups.

The episode with the giant spiders was one of the best of season 2. It reminded me of the spiders chase scene in a Harry Potter movie, but scarier. I was like, holy sh*t, run !! :D
There's tons of bad tv shows made over the years. For me, this is one of the best tv shows in recent times, especially since the end of Game Of Thrones.

I liked watching it, was gripped right until the last one, but agree that each episode was too short
