What kind of map are you looking for? Any specific gamemode like skywars or more of an adventure map? How many friends are playing?

gm_highway16800 and gm_genesis, the best maps for playing with friends

To be honest, I like gm_ bigcity a lot. I like cities, and there's a lot of room to like drive around and stuff.

My biggest gripe with gmod has always been the map limit and skybox, I always found myself wanting to explore a seemingly 'limitless" world kind of like GTA. I expect the new gmod to have a fairly large map limit so the mod community can make some epic dayz or pubg like mods to play.

You should definetely check out gm_fork, and of course the classic gm_bigcity.
