my first ever was Runescape and then I discovered MapleStory and I've played both off for like 15 years

basketball..seriously for dos, i beileve executable was bball. then there were Vikings, mortal kombat 2, aladdin, budokan (among first ones too), crystal caves, comander keen..good old times.

Leisure Suit Larry on Xtree OS. Needed to bug my dad to get past the 'adult test' questions at the start

I don't know if it was the very first, but one of the first was called Larn. It's a simplistic 80s dungeon crawler and I was entranced by it as soon as I found it. Even wrote stories set in its world, complete with keyboard-smash monsters.

Monkey Island. Played the remastered Steam version a couple of years ago, it was so much fun.

My first game in childhood was "Operation Flashpoint: Cold War Crisis". Very hard game(for me), where you die from single shot.
