Is the game dead?

I remember playing CS 1.6 as a kid, I miss playing it. Might have to redownload it sometime

I don't think its dead you just need to find some people to play with.

Definitely not but the matchmaking is not enjoyable still due to a lot of cheaters so I prefer using faceit

Maybe you should give Valorant a try. But in my view a lot of stuff like the maps or mods are missing. Pretty sure you might enjoy Counter Strike again after playing this game.

I see where you are coming from, personally, I am currently platinum and like the game, sometimes it is frustrating when your teammates don't listen. The community is still active. give it a try!

The game isnt dead at all, its simply not gonna be the same forever and is experiencing changes which are making it different in your eyes. more cheats

All my buddies including me have quit a long time back and now no one on my steam friend list even plays it. I think its dead or should be.

The Game isnt dead, they are releasing new operations etc.

Nah, I don't think the game is dead. It's still a very nice and good playing game.
