I think it can be a form of cheating, but there should be nothing wrong with it if both parts are aware of it and consent i guess?

One of my best friends exchanges nudes with me from time to time. Her words: I am single, I can do whatever I please and I want to show you my body because I feel sexy. We both tried being more than just friends in the past. But we decided that the differences were too great. I am not complaining. No I don't see it as cheating and neither does my better half.

I do not believe so, as long as you don't really know them. But sending nudes and other pictures is quite on the edge.

I have happened several times to "cheat" on my girlfriend by sexting with people I met online.
Sure it's a betrayal but it's definitely better to do it virtually than fuck another girl.

Ouroboros.

What goes around, must come around.

The pepetual motion and cascading of lies to cover lies only ever results in bad vibes; and bad experiences.

Be true, and you'll very quickly spot the liars and bullshitters in your wake.

Edit:

Getting caught is arbitrary. Why the hell does that matter? What that means is that you were really, really shit at cheating and the cause/effect was you got found out.

What you do, when starting a relationship, is enter a thing called MUTUAL OBLIGATION. If one of you fails to see the obligation to that other person, that contract is void and you leave them.

If you cheat WHICH DOES NOT MEAN INTERCOURSE(Will people read Dictionaries; or have they gone out of fashion?)on that person you mutually agreed to having a relationship with then you're just a shitty human being whom broke a social contract with someone whom trusted them to create one in the first place.

If it makes you happy and keeps you mentally healthy so you can be the best for your current SO, then whats the harm?
