I don't tuink it's too late. The game is still improving and very fun to play, especially with friend. A lot of things to explore. Me and my team play almost every night and took break sometimes when we are busy.

Everyone plays with his levels even if you are new. Game somehow finds people close to you even in quickplay. You will be fine dont worry ^^

It's not too late to get into it. It's just that you'll have a hard time wining at some points because there are a lot of people that buy a second account these days that are actually professionals at the game. They will just make you hate the game. But on the bright side that's just on the ranked side of things. If you actually want to play it just for the fun aspect of it then I suggest giving quickplay a try if you get the chance to purchase the game.
