What you think about this? I was skeptical about it, but when I started watching it, I couldn't stop.Lack of censorship, current issues, primary source and actors. Everything is at the highest level. I like that they not only banter everything, but also show you how to do it cool.
Sorry for my english
Yeah, I too was skeptical at first. But got hooked after watching the 2nd episode

It's so different from Marvel universe and DC Universe and that's what makes it feel more real.

this was a great take on a super hero series... they crossed so many borders that the bigger names wont cross and it actually worked. Umbrella Academy is a more toned down version and you really have to grind the first few episodes. However the boys is straight in and such a great series.

It's a sick TV show. I wasn't sure about it at first - marvel fatigue, but it's a really interesting take on that genre. Best TV show I've watched since Succession (HBO).

I second this

Season 1; Really engaging
Season 2; Alright

Season 1 really drags you in on first watch just because of how much of a diverge it is from your typical hero story if you can even call the boy's a hero story. Having that dynamic of heroes being like our celebrates where they are idolised to an extent where you cloud out the bad nature of them vs a group of out laws who are trying to expose the fakery of the heroes is really interesting story aspect and twist on the genre. Season 2 has the problem where it feels like this unique idea kind of over stays its welcome and drags on like a lot of the other things like the relationship with the two main characters where they constantly go back and forth on weather they support each others morales.

Completely agree, wasn't as interested in season 2 as the first - feels like it all started getting carried away with itself. Also Butcher's accent is horrendous lol

One of the best shows I've seen in the last decade. Season 1 was a bit better than the second, but not by much.
