PC because you can upgrade it
Laptops and especially ultrabooks just can't be upgraded

PC is better, but laptop is good for people who's traveling

I keep a laptop for mobility but it is vastly inferior to using the desktop. And as many have said the expandability of a desktop can't be ignored. I have done minor upgrades to my laptop but anything beyond a small upgrade to Ram and a replaced HD is difficult. I actually need to replace the keyboard on my laptop soon and thats a huge pain, another reason they're not quite as good.

Desktop gives you much more performance for the same money, esp. if you build it yourself from separately bought components.
For mobility you can take your mobile phone as it allows for most daily uses like surfing the net, watching videos, messaging, playing some games or even doing backups of photos or other data (with usb hub).
Laptop is only good if you need to do some tasks where a bigger screen and a keyboard is essential (coding, calculations, correspondence...)

I bought a laptop like 2 years ago with 16go RAM, I want to upgrade it but I can't, that's why Desktop are better. But it all depends on how you'll use it

PC or Laptop and why? I'm PC personally. Like to have a good rig for when I'm home so I can play easier
I have both. But I prefer the PC for when I am home playing video games. On the other hand, if I'm away for a few days a Laptop does me handy both work-wise and playing games.

A decent laptop if you do a lot of traveling, otherwise PC is cheaper.

PC all day, it is so much easier for me on PC then it is on a laptop. I use my laptop when I am with customers and away from the office, but don't care for it.

Of course it depends on usage. but I prefer a good laptop.

if you want upgradability you have to go with desktop, if its meant for gaming definitely desktop.
