How do you discover new music?

I mostly browse through reddit r/music, r/listentothis to find new artists

I like to read the wikipedias of bands and artists to find out what influenced them. Whoever makes something you think is cool- find out what THEY think is cool. Almost guarenteed that youll like it.

Also you can find out what other projects the artist or producers have worked on.

I have found more of my all time favorite music by doing this than by any other method i think

I just using YouTube platform and it's has the recommendationto the new music.

Random playlists on Spotify and recommendations by strangers on Discord.
Also random tik toks lol

Ive been finding tons of new music through radio garden. Its a website that lets you listen to radio stations from different countries around the world. So there are a lot of random genres to discover.

The best way is to check top charts or searching on youtube. Other than that listening to the radio and using Shazam.

for new artist i usually find them through youtube recommended but listen to all my music on spotify and sometimes they do recommend artist but not as often.

I find new music in YouTube videos a lot. I've found a ton of my favorite songs that way. You never know what you'll get with that.
