Atheist Or Not.

I'm confused X.X Personally I thought that we were God. After all, everything created on this earth basically came from or because of us. Imo religion was made to make us complacent and content, humans lay down and take anything if you tell them they'll be rewarded for it when they're dead. I also think it funny how people scapegoat one religion of marketing and recruiting when literally almost all religions do it, some just more clever than others...Just ask missionaries who travel half way across the world, oh and Jehovah's witnesses somehow lol.

Note: No offense is meant to anyone of any particular faith, just conversing.

In this day and age it's silly to believe in mystical beings in my opinion. But I do respect other peoples religious beliefs, as long as they don't force it down other peoples throats.

Personally, I feel religion was created to control people. Give them some hope, faith and what not. There is nothing wrong with that whatsoever. But as we are progressing with technology, science and the likes it becomes less and less likely that any religious being ever existed.

I dont entirely believe in the whole evolution deal. The thought that everything was created with one genetic glitch? Don't sound right to me but people think science proves everything.

The wonderful thing about science is its ability to be proven wrong. At one point webelieved that the information could not transmitted faster than light, as that would break general relativity, and this was accepted. But through testing and time we have called that error quantum entanglement and have proven it true as well as a few applications for it.

Evolution may not be entirely correct right now. Through time it will improve.

Science doesn't prove everything, indeed. But evolution doesn't say that everything was created with one genetic glitch.

Kinda does. I believe it says eyes in general were created with a DNA glitch from a water organism allowing it to identify sunlight from darkness.

Try to google it. Learned it in school.
