What are your favorite Dystopian films? I recently watched the Holy Mountain and it was really good. I definitely recommend it if youre looking for a trippy journey.

Some of my favorites areBrazil (1985), Planet of the apes (original), and Metropolis

Think my favorite Dystopian film has to be the The Giver - I also read the book and that's what made me want to watch the film.

"Snowpiercer" -- it's by the same director as Parasite and imo it's pretty artistic as well as being just generally entertaining Smile

The Road(2009) with Viggo Mortensen.

Blade Runner, always and forever. This is just for me the best dystopian movie ever. I heavily recommend an ARTE documentary about Philip K Dick about his process for the original book that inspired the movie, i can't remember the name, but it shouldn't be too hard to find.

Twelve Monkeys is a great dystopian combined time travel movie.

Brazil, because it's "nowday" dystopia.
Whereas movies like The Road are kind of "post-apo dystopias"
