My friends has been playing for quite a while now, and spending big amounts of cash.. Me and my friend are getting a bit worried.. Do you guys have friends.. Who pays crazy amounts on in game purchases? And how do you tackle it?

Yes, one of my friends decided to spend over 300 dollars on Genshin Impact, I personally have never spent any money on Genshin Impact, however, I was surprised at how much money my friend spent.

Haha I'm making that same promise. I'm playing Brawl stars and almost bought the season pass for it its not expensive but I made the promise to never do so to.

Won't they realise it when the money's gone?

I really dislike the gatcha system. I think it would of been amazing if they could implement more multiplayer challengers. I would like a mix between anime and questing.

The main problem with F2P games is nothing to be done.

Honestly, this is a big problem with lots of Gacha games. If your friend is really spending too much, you can just ask if they're on a budget / if they're tracking how much they've spent. You can't force someone to be responsible, but you can slowly try to get them to consider their actions a bit. Good luck with this :(

Making them aware of the amount is a start, as mentioned by people here.
Sometimes it's just "oh it's only $5-20" but they do that a lot of times and it adds up.
