counter strike global offensive isn't dead, but if valve doesn't add anything to this game, it will die sooner than you think.

csgo will not die within a few years valve still has to continue profiting with this game (skins, tournaments, operations)
Surely when the audience level of world tournaments drops, they will begin to talk about a new Counter strike ...

CS:GO has been out since 2012. Game is still popular and is averaging 1mil players a day.

Doubt the game is going to die any sooner.

I've played it here and there for a bit, but it feels like the main driving force behind it is the community. I enjoy the mini games, bhop, and other servers, but every update is just like "Hey, here's a cool pin for $20"

Well obviously Covid just shoved it right back into people it has been out for ages ad still is popular can it really die rn?

I mean like I already said some people still enjoy the game as it is a competitivegame that brings enjoyment and profit to Valve.
