What makes Star Wars so entertaining?

Star Wars is entertaining because of theseISS, Spook, Captain Jame Kurk, HyperDrive.

I think, for adults, brings you to your childhood. a couple of hours of just pure enjoy

Not really sure, as not is getting boret. It was great in 90s but now they don't know how to continue this saga.

i think the budget being so massive is part of what makes it good, they don't' have to spare any expense they just do what they want. that and the universe lore is already so deep that they can make the character arcs as deep as they want. it's like infinite stories really.

To me Star Wars is about the nostalgia. This is why none of the remakes really came very close. It is hard to get back that feeling of lost youth.

The different places, fast travels different alien races and the fact that it's enjoyable by everyone been here so long its fun to watch

Don't know about the rest of the people in here, but for me it's mostly the nostalgia factor and that it was super sci-fi when the genre was not that popular.
Also, completely excluding the last 3 movies, they were terrible.

Might be entertaining but its like a soap opera... I hate soap operas.
