I've seen the original series and i heard that there is a remake out there with better sound and image quality, but i dont know how's it called, help pls

Evangelion is pretty messed up in terms of story. I have watched the anime and a couple of movies and I still am confused about what the hell it's about.

I would personally recommend staying away from the franchise unless you're super into it.

I saw the category on crunchyroll and it was labeled as ?dementia Ive seen little parts of the anime and it has piqued my interests. I might watch it.
