which game has the best soundtrack?

splatoon 2 takes the cake for me, it has virtually every genre and all of the songs go harder than bread that has been left out of the fridge for a week.

Helltaker, Literally the best fucking soundtrack there is to man.

Got a couple. As far as like standard gaming goes. FFIX is pretty chill. I remember reading somewhere that it Uematsu's favorite, too. If VNs count, then G-Senjou's soundtrack, all that classical music is top shelf. And the vocal tracks are really nice, too.

Final fantasy games tend to have great sound tracks

Most Pokmon and Zelda games have great soundtracks. Especially BOTW

I really enjoyed the Hollow Knight and Omori soundtracks.

You should really check them out if music is a dealbreaker in games for you.

Doom Eternal is pretty fckin amazing when it comes to music. I haven't played it yet but i know it has a lot of bangers.

Hotline miami. I could listen to the OST for hours.

Crypt of the Necrodancer is really good/catchy if you like that type of music. Also Ill sometimes throw on an OST from Halo/Skyrim/FinalFantasy/Octopath Traveler.
