Yo community,

so I was searching for a new game for a little while now, but I couldn't find any good game to play with some mates, besides this one.

We're playing:
  • Battlefield 3:

-> We're playing this game for 4 years now, we're pretty good and we can't unlock nor explore anything new anymore. Still awesome for some hours.
The game has a great system to play with (the mechanics and how the game works). For example there's "below radar", which means, that you're vulnerable to ground-to-air or air-to-air missiles whilst flying at a certain height, but as soon as you fly low enough, missiles won't be able to lock on to you anymore.
There's a few of this things in the game, which make it to a great one.

  • Mass Effect 3:

-> Got this game since the release as well, so we're pretty good at this game too. We still can unlock some things which are extremely rare, so there's still a goal, which makes it even more fun. Even though I'm pretty skilled at this game, it still can be a bitch sometimes. There are 4 different types of enemies, every single one is very difficult and has some very tough enemies.
So it's always a challenge when you play.

  • Battlefield 4:

-> The game is good, but I'm honest, I'm bad at it. It's fun for half an hour or so, then it just sucks that you die because of nothing.
They say this game is great because it has a great balance of everything, but I think it has no system. A usual ground-soldier can take out a tank way too easy, it's like you're riding a bike.
However, I like the game itself but I need to get used to the mechanics first, which takes a lot of time.

  • CoD MW2:

-> Old but gold. Always having some nice matches, until all those tubers, campers, runners, 1887 akimbos, ........ getting in the game.
There are still some servers and there are still a bunch of people you can play with, so it's alright for a bit, but it still gets annoying over time.

  • BO3:

-> I don't have it myself, but we've been playing it quiet a lot (at a friends home). It's quiet fun but it's a bit too hectic for my taste, but that's something you can live with.
The weapons are nice, the killstreaks are good and the game has a pretty good balance of everything.

  • CS:GO:

-> Playing it here and then. Not my favorite game, still fun sometimes.
It's difficult that you can't run, so you always have to take your knife to get forward on a normal speed-level. Also your health doesn't recover, so your death is written in stone already after one "dogfight".

I bought it about two weeks ago, and I didn't expect it to be that good actually. It's really interesting to find ot what all the operators do, because there are quiet a lot of them and you need to get used to every single one, or to those you play, as everyone is different.
Can't tell too much yet, still trying things out, also the first DLC came out yesterday, so there's even more to discover.

So I wanna ask you:
Do you play this game? What are your thoughts about it?

Yeah true that, I didn't want to buy it either, but a few friends did and they said it's awesome. So I bought it too, including the Season Pass, as they said that it's really worth it.
But I'm sure that the game will get pretty cheap after some months.
The best example for that is Battlefield 3, I pre-ordered it for 90 and now it was out for free for two weeks, now it's on 9.99.

They do, but Bf3 does the most.
Still, after years of playing that games you want to get some fresh air into your world of gaming.
Rainbow Six did that pretty well.

Definitely, that's why I didn't put bf3 on there since it's pretty old ( same goes for mw2 ) and it's no longer fresh content.

But I think Rainbow Six is a dope game and you should let me know how it goes for you. I've only played it a few times but the gameplay that I did get to do, the game looked very crisp and nice.

Well, I'm level 27 now and I've played quiet a lot, and I can tell, it's pretty dope.
You need a great team and you need to think about every step you make, listen to sounds, see any upcoming things like drones, mines, enemies, grenades, cameras and so on.
You need to be careful as hell and you need to react fast in every situation, or you're out.

That's pretty demanding and you need to be focused all the time, which is pretty exhausting, but the feeling when you win is just awesome.
Additional to that there are so much different things, like operators (the guys you play) and every team is different.
Also the community is great. If you win, the enemy team doesn't insult you, they tell you that it was a great game and that you played well, so you deserved to win.
That's something you won't find in a lot of other games.

That last part caught me by surprise. Especially since I play a lot of COD I find shit talkers occasionally.

It sounds like the online gameplay would be dope af. I might think about giving it a go for myself. Thanks for that information Blaze.
