What do you think about the George Floyd incident?

I felt conflicted when I watched the video, but I truly believe that justice has been served. Floyd was unarmed and posed no threat. Chauvin kept his knee on his neck for nine minutes even after he was dead, when he could have just put him into a squad car. Chauvin also deliberately stopped bystanders from helping.

This wasn't negligence, this was murder, and while no amount of legal trials will bring Floyd back, I hope that the guilty verdict has finally given his family a sense of peace.

I personally support cops, and I honestly don't know what to think of this situation. However, I do not understand how this gives people the right to burn down buildings and kill each other.

This is not negligence, it was murder, and although many trials will not bring back Android, I hope this punishment will eventually bring peace to his family.

I really think the cop shouldn't have did what he did. While yes like what a fellow commenter said above, we shouldn't put our feedback to something we have little to no knowledge about the stress these police officers everyday struggle with. Instead of "defunding the police". We should fund it toward better training our officer in certain situations and stop arming our officers with Military grade gear.

I think they should've charged the cop with first-degree murder and not manslaughter, but, sigh, that's America.
