Does food taste better with friends?

When we go out with my friends and go somewhere to eat, I always enjoy the moment more and remember the food better when I am with them, my friends.

I seem to remember the moment better, but that can distract from the food, not that thats a big problem

I think when you cook together with your friends, then yes, food tastes better than restaurant food

Good company makes good food and drink!
I've also heard that laughing and chatting while you eat allows more oxygen into your mouth so you taste better? But I've never fact checked that!
