Do you think Battle Royals will have the same hype in the future?

I dont know if they'll have the "hype" so much as they'll just be another genre of game out there

Well it depends, if future battle royals intent to add unique features that never seen before. I personally enjoy battle royales and love to see cool features while also not making the game RNG. RNG is what turns most people away from BR's in general.
