What was your first anime?

Dragon Ball of course, on TV when I was a kid. But really, what got my anime interest up was Death Note I think.

Pokemon, but mostly just because it was popular at the time. I saw it as another regular cartoon rather than a real anime as a kid, mostly because I didn't know what anime actually was. I got really big into the trading card game too.
The first anime I went out of my way to watch was Spice and Wolf.

Hmm earliest one i can think of was about this girl that lived in the alps and they eat bread and milk. Alps look like it's peace and quiet
