Ive personally known people who have passed away from it. I only wish it were a myth

Probably. Like there's rumors about it, and they're dumb.

hah if that were the case people would not be dying. I don't think the government would want their own country or people to suffer from covid. THese types of diseases have happened in china before.

it's not a myth but there's a lot of misinformation, deniers and fearmongering going on. it's very real.

I can't understand how people can dismiss a very real disease. It probably all stems from fear- as if your denying it enough will cause it to disappear

I certainly don't think it's a myth, but I do think that it has been used and abused as a means of political maneuvering. And, I also think that in some cases it has been blown a little out of proportion. I've actually known quite a few people to have COVID, and none of them had severe cases. In fact, they said that it was pretty much just like the flu, and if they hadn't known about COVID and had confirmation that what they were dealing with was COVID, they would have suspected it was just the average flu. Now, that's not to say that COVID isn't a concern, because clearly it is. But, in some cases, I have a hard time believing everything I hear when it comes to COVID. Because the truth is, the medical professionals, the government, and others who are dealing with and researching COVID still don't even fully understand it. So it's hard to be fully vested in what's said, when what's said, in some cases, is merely just the best educated guess that they have.

Well, people are dying from this. And I've gotten COVID myself. I could tell that it was nothing I've ever felt before. Altho, the doctor personally said that I had a new strain that nobody ever had. I don't think it was the newest delta strain, but I felt like my entire body was burning in peppermint, apparently, it's "the chills". But Oh My God, I was praying to the Lord because I thought my entire body was melting in muscle rub when I don't even own any...

The "chills" started in my foot, then every 10 seconds it'd spread up until my entire body was covered in a burning muscle rub/peppermint feeling. I freaked out, praying for my life, but maybe I'm just really sensitive Lol. It lasted 5 minutes or less
