Hi everyone, do you know NFTs? Does anyone produce them?

I'm curious what you think.

IMO nft art is really homogenous, most of it has no real subject/substance and from what I've seen and are mostly just chrome style renders of random objects. Plus there's the massive environmental damage that there indirectly contributing to.

I think they're a scam IMO.. how are you supposed to truly claim something that doesn't physically exist?

too early to tell at this point, for sure it's going to be overcrowded pretty fast
meaning that quality is still uncertain, if you take out the already credited artists

I believe in the technology and think it might be the future

100% no, it's ruining the environment and it's not even really low level artists that are just looking for exposure or anything like that that are doing these nfts. it's artists with pockets so fat they cant even fit more bills in them auctioning stuff for 10's of thousands of dollars. it's just a scrooge operation like the rest of capitalism lol

I did some cool work on NFT. But no one appreciated it, I'm waiting for bids. lul

If you can sell your nft art, its great. But until theres a governing system enforcing rules, cryptocurrency is really risky

most of the fineart dosnt either, its just alot of money laundering, because the price retention for an art piece is constant unlike something like gold or diamond, because art gets its value from perspective and not demand

Money laundering. Plain and simple. Tokenization is the future, though.
