Steam to accept bitcoin via bitpay soon

Looks like this is a rip from the steam application/website:

"Bitcoin transactions are authorized through the BitPay website. Click the button below to open a new web browser to initiate the transaction."

"This process can take up to 60 seconds. To avoid purchasing failures, please do not hit your back button or close the bitpay window before the process is complete."

"Your purchase is currently in progress and is waiting for confirmation of Bitcoin delivery from BitPay. This process can take several minutes to a few days for confirmation. Valve will send an email receipt to you when payment is received for this purchase. During this time you may continue shopping for other games, though you will not be able to re-purchase any products that are pending in this transaction."

Nice, now I can buy HuniePop without it being traced back to my PayPal.

I Thought they were already accepting BTC? Then again i don't use steam...
It's great that valve allows this though, it show's that they care about there user's privacy.

I can't see a negative to that really. Valve is getting money, so eh? Maybe I don't know enough.

This feature would be really great. But then how are they going to refund games paid via Bitcoin.
I'm more than sure that all sales will be final.

Log address/bitpay account that was used to pay for it then send the bits back (valve will have to buy some)?

I don't think valve will add bitcoin to steam very soon, maybe mobile payment but bitcoin no

This could be interested, I would of thought this to be implemented a long time ago!

It's a good idea, however the waiting period will be frustrating to so many users :noh:

About time. I think more and more services should start accepting bitcoin.
