Why do you think CSGO died?

As one of the few top most played games on steam, I don't think it's dead.
I never hear about it though. I guess its the old timers tale: "Just cause you don't hear about it, doesn't mean it's dead."

Though, ever since the R8 incident I think their reluctant from adding new stuff to the base game which, in return, might make the game stale.

No, in Csgo was many cheater and with Block Prime cheaters dont can playing with rank. This is amazing, and time for up Prime is 3 years

they couldn't find a cure for cheats and then valorant came players preferred valorant without cheats

it hasn't died, still a very active playerbase. i no longer like it and cant wait till it dies, but its def not dead. look at the steam charts alone or active players.

It's not dead at all, the market community is fine but MM is falling down hill. With the new update to MM and Prime it may pick up as Overwatch is working again so spinbotters are getting banned quicker.

csgo is def not dead, it is still the top game in player statistics on steam, higher than dota 2. It does get a little stale tho, playing the same game over and over, which is why it might seem dead when friends move on from the game.

because it dont have updates, so it was bored

csgo died the day the game become free, much hackers and aimbot, only can play good in tournament web.

I started playing valorant on the act2, and its this game is so nice. So valorant is taking old players away from cs:go. cs go is not died but dying slowly
