Is League Really THAT Toxic?

I think it's both. The game is actually really toxic. 90% of the time you'll find at least someone being toxic or misusing pings such as the "??????" ping. But, there's also people who play the game for quite a bit and discourage people not to get into it because it's a love and hate relationship kind of game. You enjoy it when you win but losing and having to deal with toxic fucks who also are bad makes it tilting.

I think you can find toxicity in just about any game. That's just gaming culture, sadly. You just always have to practice a good mindset to be immune to it! good luck!

Eh, its pretty toxic but there are moments when you are really into the game when you meme and people meme with you but there are some really toxic people. It just comes with the competitive nature of the game.

I hardly ever use the chat but yes, sometimes it is frustrating and brings out the worst in you

The game itself is not toxic, but it's the community. People are really toxic nowadays, when you are playing bad they will put you down or when you are just chilling they will insult you for no reason.

Playing could be really frustating that's why it better to off the chat.

Nah, just average. If you think CSGO is toxic youll probably find LOL toxic too.

I've been playing since 2010. I've encountered some toxicity, but overall not too much. The leveling experience nowadays can be a bit detrimental, but if you can manage to keep a positive outlook, I haven't encountered too much toxicity overall.
