What game scared you the most?

Half Life 2 is scary as fuck, because of all the stupid headcrabs and barnacles.

The most problaby as kid on dark rainy night with the lights out by my own playing Obscure on my old PS2 that shit gave me the biggest jumpscare ever, recently tho probably Outlast on my first time playing it.

Outlast. I was really young too and it did not help. Amnesia too, now that I think about it.

Assuming not count being startled by overused jump scares/loud noises? When I was young I played Scratches and it had a creepy vibe to it. Honestly, any game listed as a horror game that has a creepy ambience, but doesn't waste it on poorly executed jump scares.

Phasmophobia was very scary at first xD
