Why do you cheat?

Srly, why do you cheat in video games?
I can see it can be funny and all, but there must be another reason.
Does getting to Master in CS:GO using cheats really an achievement?
I cheated on minecraft because the premium guys always ruined my fun so I wanted to get back at them.
But it turned into an adiction and now I can't play minecraft without cheats anymore.

in some games you need to do it because everyone is doing it and if you dont use cheats they will give you no change of surviving

Because if it's a game I've already played I don't see the point in putting myself through the tedium of doing a specific prerequisite, especially if it's something that I've completed again and again so really I don't see the issue in cheating as long as it's something you've played throughly.

I don't cheat to ruin the games experience for other people or anything toxic but I don't have the time to grind games so I might cheat here and there as long as it doesn't harm other peoples playing experience

i ask myself the same question all the time, especially in ranked, if you didnt work for it what fun have you gotten out of it?

Sometimes it gets boring, but yea it's stupid to do it. I did it once on my smurf account and I felt bad. It's actually not that fun.
