I'm not depressed nor do I suffer from mental illness. However almost everyday some uncomfortable memories or habits from childhood manifest themselves. It doesn't cause a breakdown or anything, it just makes me feel mildly distressed for a short while. I was talking to someone about this recently and I was kind of shocked when they said this didn't happen to them. Is it normal to have a daily mini-haunt from childhood? (For context I'm 31M).
RE: Does everyone have emotional baggage from childhood?
I certainly have my own. My parents got split up at a young age and I was bullied a lot in school, still follows me to this day, sadly, cost my my self esteem and my reliability. Thankfully, things have been looking up recently :D, I do hope everything goes well for you
