Are NFTs ethical?

What do you all think? Did they fix the carbon footprint?

what shouldn't be ethical about it, it's overpriced art. If people want to pay for it I don't have anything against that

NFT itself is ethical as you want. You pay what you think it's worth. I'm not sure if you meant carbon footprint as in mining? Mining itself has incentive to greenify because it's cheaper, so even if mining started off carbon negative, once it transfers more and more to renewable energy, it'll be carbon positive.

Considering the fact that most NFTs are built on ERC-721 tokens, id say there still is a way to go in reduction, esp considering that ETH2 still isnt out yet lol
