Warzone Gulag

How do I survive the Gulag? I almost die to the opponent every time and they just feel like they appear out of nowhere.

You gotta always rush the right side in the Gulag because the enemy is rushing there

I always use my tactical grenade ASAP and rush around the edges trying to get a good first shot
