I'm really shit at art but I like doing it any tips i should know

I like art but I'm not really that good at it and guides or anything of that sort I should know about to help me get better. Plus I've been told I look like Bob Ross so being able to do art would be cool af.

Start with basic shapes, when you get good at it, try adding volume to it. Slowly move to basics of perspective and then to human anatomy
