Getting into baseball?

Played baseball as a kid, not in HS tho. Never cated to watch it, but waa asked to be part of a softball team this past year. We won our league tournement and it's hella fun when not taken seriously: so for this reaaon I might start watching baseball

congrats on winning! baseball is great. it can be a tad slow sometimes but if you think of it like a chess game, it starts to become a little more exciting to watch

I think playing it personally (or a similar sport) gives you a good impression of the actual game play. Just see if you like it; if not stick to your softball games that bring joy

I love baseball but damn are there a ton of games... I don't have that much time to watch them all just for one team.

as an avid baseball lover, i can see it being hard to get into if you dont grow up playing, even i get tired of it at about 120 games, eso if my team (reds) starts peeing down there leg (often)
