Should I tell my doctor I smoke weed?

I dont really have an issue telling my doctor that I smoke weed, but I do feel nervous telling him that I smoke everyday.

Has anyone encountered this situation, and how did you go about it?

Always tell your doctor anything that can impact your health, they have no reason and no ability to report you for it except maybe if you're underage and it becomes a duty of care thing.

Only thing it can hurt with is if you're trying to get certain medications that can't be prescribed to people that smoke a lot of weed or drink a lot of alcohol etc. and half the time the doc will give you a warning like "I have to ask this cause if you say X then I can't do it"

It depends in witch situation you are, if you are going for casual thing like a cold or stomachache i dont think you need to say it. But if your having constan medication of any kind that may be a situation you could tell your doctor

Yes I mean I live in Germany I don't know how the rules are in you're country but I yelled to my doctor with 12 that I smoked weed and cigarettes and his reply was ok that's not good you should stop smoking could impact your life. and that was it. The problem is it actually impacted my life pretty badly. would never start smoking weed again and never smoke weed!

I do agree with the above guys, it's a case-dependent basis bud. If it's like not that much, weed wouldn't be much of an issue cuz you can just flush it out your system. Otherwise if it's like really in big amounts, that's the time you need to inform your doctor about it.

Better tell him..

It makes no difference but its always good to and they cant say anything under hiipa

you can always tell your doctor especially if its legal in your area
