For now its probably death note, tokyo ghoul or steins gate. I know that they messed up the tokyo ghoul anime but I still really enjoyed it, maybe because it was my first anime. Death note and Steins gate where both incredible, definitely one of my favorites, although in the death note anime they kind of messed up the ending, it was very enjoyable.

monogatari series. Its great show which make you think a lot about the plot and characters. And I also like different kinds of 'bounds' that Araragi has with every girl in the title. Someone he sees as ideal girl, someone he dates, someone is bounded with him by blood, and some are his sisters :D

Akira for sure! One of the best animations I've ever consumed

Ghost in the Shell. Huge fan of cyberpunk and like that they discuss philosophical issues related to technology and its impact on individual and society.

Super cliche, but Sailor moon purely for nostalgia. Everyone always gives Usagi way too hard of a time, though. She's a great character if you don't watch the dub lol.

Oregairu, because the main characters have a personality that I haven't seen in any other anime and I could easily identify with Hachiman.
