People first thing to say when replying to this question is "no the game is dead" there's a lot of reasons on why not to buy overwatch if you are looking for a new game to play and have fun. if you're a casual player and play to have fun rather than to win than this game might be for you but the queue times on casual and are a bit long for the role DPS and it can be a bit boring sometimes. but if you want to get into the competitive scene of overwatch then here are some things to look at before buying. overwatch is a bit dead. lot of low elo players are a bunch of old men playing the game kinda being bad at the game and makes it harder to climb for other players. queue times for dps takes a long time if you are looking to play a role that is fun to play in first being new to the game. and this game is toxic. people will actually throw your game if you say something that will upset them, even if you didn't mean it in a upsetting way, but you can meet a lot of new people that i say that are cool and can group and play to climb together. overwatch 2 is coming around the corner and its kinda gonna be similar to what we saw in overwacth if you're looking to buy that too. in my opinion i dont think its worth getting into. im addicted to the game and it sucks LOL
